This Privacy Policy explains how Clophy (“Clophy”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data when you visit https://www.clophy.com (the “Website”), contact us, submit enquiry or qualification forms, or otherwise interact with our services.

We process personal data in accordance with the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. For the purposes of those laws, Clophy is the data controller.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Website or submit personal data to us.

01.Who we are

Clophy is a sole-trader business operated by Michaelangelo Agbodike, based in Luton, England. We provide operations automation systems, related digital services, and publicly documented founder content under the Founder Line brand.

Contact for privacy matters: michael@clophy.com.

02.Personal data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect and process the following categories of personal data:

  • Identity and contact data: name, email address, telephone number, business name, and any other details you choose to provide.
  • Enquiry and qualification data: information submitted via our contact form, Tally discovery-call qualification form, or communications by email, telephone, or WhatsApp.
  • Booking data: date, time, and related scheduling information when you book a call through Google Calendar or other scheduling tools we link to.
  • Communication content: the substance of messages, call notes, and follow-up correspondence.
  • Technical and usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring URLs, and approximate location derived from IP, as collected by our hosting provider and embedded third-party tools.
  • Public social data: information you make publicly available on platforms you choose to engage with in connection with Founder Line (for example YouTube or LinkedIn), where relevant to displaying or linking to that content.

03.How we collect personal data

  • Directly from you when you complete forms, book a call, email us, call us, or message us on WhatsApp.
  • Automatically when you browse the Website, including through cookies, server logs, and similar technologies operated by us or our processors.
  • From third-party platforms that host forms, bookings, or embeds you choose to use (including Tally and Google).

04.Purposes and lawful bases

We process personal data only where we have a lawful basis under UK GDPR. The principal purposes and bases are as follows:

  • To respond to enquiries and provide requested information or services — performance of a contract or steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b)), and/or our legitimate interests in operating and growing the business (Article 6(1)(f)).
  • To qualify prospective clients for a discovery or assessment call and to schedule that call — Article 6(1)(b) and/or Article 6(1)(f).
  • To administer, improve, and secure the Website — legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
  • To comply with legal or regulatory obligations — legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
  • Where we send optional marketing communications, we will do so only with your consent where required (Article 6(1)(a)), or otherwise in accordance with applicable electronic marketing rules. You may withdraw consent at any time.

05.Third parties and processors

We use trusted service providers to operate the Website and related workflows. These providers process personal data on our behalf or as independent controllers, depending on the service:

  • Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
  • n8n — automation workflow that receives contact-form submissions from our server.
  • Tally — discovery-call qualification form embedded on the Website.
  • Google — Google Calendar appointment scheduling linked after qualification or from certain pages.
  • YouTube (Google) — retrieval and display of public video metadata on the Founder Line page; watching videos on YouTube is subject to Google’s terms and privacy policy.
  • WhatsApp / Meta — if you contact us via WhatsApp.
  • Email and telecommunications providers — for ordinary business communications.

Some pages may also link to third-party services such as CarePath360 scheduling tools. Those services are governed by their own privacy notices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third party before submitting information to them.

06.International transfers

Some of our providers may process or store personal data outside the United Kingdom. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take steps designed to ensure an appropriate level of protection, including reliance on adequacy regulations or appropriate transfer mechanisms required by UK data protection law, where applicable.

07.Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, including to provide services, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

Enquiry and lead records are typically retained for up to twenty-four (24) months unless a longer period is required for an active client relationship, legal claim, or statutory obligation. Technical logs may be retained for shorter periods in accordance with our hosting provider’s practices.

Subject to applicable exemptions, you have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal data.
  • Request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Request erasure of your personal data.

09.Cookies and similar technologies

The Website may use strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies required for security, load balancing, and basic functionality. Embedded third-party tools (including Tally and, if you interact with YouTube content, Google) may set their own cookies or use local storage subject to their policies.

Where non-essential cookies are used in future, we will provide appropriate notice and obtain consent where required by law. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect Website functionality.
